A guy I admire recommended this book to me. Very different from what I usually read, but very good. It's about the character-building experiences of Tim Russert's life. It made me think of some experiences of my own childhood in a different way. For instance, when I was 12, living on the bottom road of my very small town, my best friend lived toward the top off the town, uphill all the way. My mom would not drive me to her house when I wanted to play there. I had to walk the 15 or so minutes and I hated it. But now I think she might have been wanting to teach me something and I hope my kids have to do some walking in life and not have everything handed to them. :)
